Guests are welcome to roam freely on the farm and enjoy nature at their own leisure. 


In our Bergkamp guests can experience close encounters with our wildlife, which include, springbuck, bontebok, ostriches, zebras and an abundant bird life. There is two trails : one of 12 km and an easy 5 km, taking hikers through our diverse fynbos.


Al though we do not allow cycling in the Bergkamp, overnight guests are welcome to bring their bikes and take to the jeep tracks on the farm. The famous Cape Epic crosses our lands every year and cyclist will be rewarded with beautiful scenery along the way.


Our splendid gardens have plenty of secret spots where one can enjoy a little bit of quiet time. Take a book along or just sit, take a deep breath and enjoy nature.


A beautiful signature playground will keep the little ones busy, while you enjoy your lunch at Bosjes Kombuis.

Farm Activities

Bosjes is a working farm, producing olives, wine grapes, peaches and proteas. Should you wish to experience some of the harvesting activities during the week, we will try our utmost to accommodate you. It is a great educational opportunity for kids.

Arts and Crafts

Tulbagh (40 km) is renowned for its local arts and crafts. Closer to home there is an exhibition of local art at Slanghoek Wine Cellar.
The Fairhills Craft shop not only sells commercially made products, but also has a variety of handmade soaps, candles and lead glass products. They also offer classes to those who are interested in craft work. These classes can be attended in groups or individually

Ceres Golf Course has been originally crafted by local community members with nothing more than a few donkeys to assist, the Ceres Golf Course offers something a little different from the average golfing estate in the south. Tel: 023 312 3068.
The magnificent 18 hole course at Worcester, had been designed by one of South Africa’s favourite sons of golfing – Gary Player, and offers panoramic views of both the Breede River Valley and the surrounding Brandwacht Mountains. Tel: 023 347 2542

Hexpass Express

Karoo Botanical Garden

The Botanical gardens is just out side Worcester, about 25 km from the farm and offers a variety of indigenous plants and succulents found in the Karoo.
