4×4 Routes

Arts & Crafts
The village of Tulbagh is only 40 km away. It is renowned for its arts and crafts and architecture. Some of these are in the exhibition at Slanghoek Wine Cellar.
Adene Flowers
From January to the end of April, the farm has open days. It has become one of the big attractions of the area and is famous for its beautiful dahlias.
Ceres Zipline Adventure
Experience the thrill of ziplining across the landscape. The zipline operator is located only a 30 minutes drive from BOSJES. Height and age restrictions apply. For reservations call +27 79 245 0354 or +27 78 063 5134.
Craft Beer
There are four craft breweries in the area. Contact reception for directions.
Fishing
There is excellent freshwater fishing at Brandvlei dam. Whitefish is endangered and may not be removed – catch and release. Entrance and parking at Worcester Yacht Club. Call +27 23 343 2877 or +27 72 515 0955.
Craft Gin
MONKS Gin, situated just before Bainskloof wines, is a locally crafted Gin that has won numerous international awards. A stylish new sales office on the farm offers tastings.
Golf
Ceres Golf Course offers something different. Local enthusiasts originally constructed it with nothing more than a few donkeys to do the hard labour. Call +27 23 312 3068.
The impressive 18-hole course at Worcester, designed by South African golfing legend Gary Player, offers panoramic views of the Breedekloof Valley and the surrounding Brandwacht mountains. Call +27 23 347 2542.
Hoogwater Nectarine & Fig Picking
From November to the end of March, Hoogwater Farm invites visitors to pick their own fruit. Remember sunscreen and a hat!
Karoo Botanical Gardens
The Karoo Botanical Gardens is situated 25 km from the estate in the direction of Worcester. It features a splendid variety of indigenous plants thriving in these arid conditions.
Wine Routes & Tasting
The Breedekloof Wine region is one of the breathtaking vistas and majestic mountains. Award-winning wines are produced by talented and creative winemakers. A day trip to explore the wines’ provenance is time well spent.
Our neighbouring farm, Seven Oaks, offers wine safaris. A booked trip gives insight into the different terroir necessary to grow and create beautiful wines.
