Meditation
The BOSJES gardens offer tranquil nooks and hideaways that provide quiet, rejuvenating space and quiet time. Take a book or sit and breathe in the beauty.
Cycling
The famous ABSA Cape Epic MTB race traverses the BOSJES estate every year, showcasing its beautiful scenery to participants. Although cycling is not permitted in the Bergkamp, overnight guests can bring their bikes and take them to jeep tracks on the farm.
Playground
Custom-designed playgrounds are incorporated into the garden design, catering for all ages. The Boombrug with climbing nets and a mini zip line will please the older and more adventurous, while sandpits and water fountains will entertain the younger ones for hours. Adult supervision is required at the play structures.
Farm Activities
BOSJES is a working farm producing olives, wine grapes, peaches and proteas. Guests who want to take a closer look at production will be accommodated when possible. It is an excellent educating opportunity for children.
Birding
The BOSJES gardens attract a wide variety of bird species and when the proteas are in bloom in the Bergkamp, guests can marvel at attractive sunbirds. The Malachite-, Orange Breasted- and Double Collared Sunbird and the Cape Sugarbird are regular visitors to BOSJES.
